The Attendance tool enables instructors to track attendance for activities within the course. Use the Attendance tool to create sessions to track attendance and define attendance statuses for course activities. Instructors can assign grades for user attendance, view attendance results, and track users that have poor attendance.
We do NOT recommend using the Attendance Tool though given the complexity in setting up and updating with class attendance data.
The Law School is currently evaluating alternative solutions. Short-term options include using Polls or non-graded Quizzes for attendance tracking. If you would like to use the native Attendance tool though, the following articles are located on the D2L Brightspace Help website.
