Hybrid instruction is a modality that includes and accommodates both in-person and remote students in a learning experience. All Law School teaching spaces have a common set of technologies that support hybrid instruction. Please review the video below to familiarize yourself with these essential classroom tools.

The Basic Steps

  1. Turn On
    • Wake computer,
    • Launch room system,
    • Attach and turn on lav mic.
  2. Tune in
    • Open teaching materials (e.g. PowerPoint),
    • Log in to NYU Home,
    • Navigate to Brightspace course site.
  3. Teach
    • Launch Zoom meeting,
    • Arrange session,
    • Record Zoom meeting.
  4. Turn off
    • End Zoom meeting,
    • Restart computer,
    • Shut down room system.
